Yesterday, Richard Brynes posted on his blog FreeTech4Teachers about a great new website: Vialogues. After checking the website out, I knew I had to share!
Vialogues allows users to share videos via upload or YouTube content, and then engage in online discussion about the video. Users can then make comments, pose questions and polls, and respond to one another through an easy-to-use interface as they watch the chosen video. Vialogues can also be controlled for privacy, and sent out through invites or shared publicly.
This would be a great tool for the classroom, where teachers could share educational videos with students and ask them to discuss and respond to questions! For a basic overview of the process, check out this screenshot below:
