Hope everyone is having a great semester so far! It is almost time for spring break here in Houston, so… what better way to kick off the week than with a Free App?!
While eating copious amounts of food this weekend, I snuck in some Internet browsing time and came across a 3D Brain application that allows users to explore the parts of the brain by zooming and rotating on their touch screens. Users can learn in depth information on 29 different parts of the brain, including how each region functions, what happens when that region is injured, and how that region is involved in mental illnesses. Each region is interactive, and also features case studies and information on current research.
This app would be great for science classrooms, students and children who want to learn more about the brain, or even college students in biology or neurology classes! Check out some screenshots below, and brush up on your brain knowledge with this free app:
Happy grey matter, y’all!
