Screen Shot 2013-03-31 at 10.41.30 PMThe ninth grade students at my school will soon be starting their unit on Romeo and Juliet by the most famous bard of all – Shakespeare. In preparation for the faculty that are introducing this play, I was doing some research online and came across this fantastic app that I had to share. The Shakespeare app is true to its name and offers users access to the full-length texts of Shakespeare’s works!

That’s right, full-texts of Shakespeare’s works are on the app, and are fully searchable! Looking for a line or quote? Just type it in and watch as the app pulls up the exact occurrence from over 40 plays and 150 sonnets. The paid version has even more features, such as a random quote generator and biographies of major characters, but the free version is hefty in its inclusion of major works.

Happy Shakespearean readings, y’all!
