The Obama administration is asking for your ideas on how to boost the development of learning technologies. As part of its Education Datapalooza initiative, the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy is asking that interested individuals and organizations send their comments to identify public and private actions that have the potential to accelerate the development, rigorous evaluation, and widespread adoption of high-impact learning technologies.
If you are interested and want to share your thoughts or ideas on the matter, I would recommend first reading this checklist on developing effective comments. Better yet, have your students weigh in on the matter and send their thoughts on educational technology and possible improvements or suggestions to the White House. When you’re ready to hit send, view the full request for information here or shoot an email directly to the office with your suggestions.
Comments must be received by 11:59 p.m. on March 7, 2014, to be considered.
Happy democracy, y’all.
