We’re used to seeing photos of\u00a0Katie Holmes<\/a> either walking the streets of NYC in stylish outfits, or on the red carpet<\/a>. But this time, she was photographed at the airport,\u00a0making a post-Christmas\u00a0return to the city. And as is always the case with Holmes, she was dressed in a practical outfit that was as stylish as it was wearable.<\/p>\n

As someone who prefers to wear jeans over leggings or sweatpants to the airport, I love seeing a celebrity travel outfit that includes jeans that are actually comfortable. The instances of celebs wearing stiff, high-waisted jeans to the\u00a0airport<\/a> are well-documented, but Holmes opted for a pair of loose wide-leg jeans in a light wash. Her jeans are a now-sold-out pair by\u00a0Wandler<\/a> but there are plenty of similar styles on the market to choose from (see below).<\/p>\n

Baggy jeans, another style in the loose-jean family, were obviously the reigning denim trend of 2022 (with low-rise being a close second), but wide-leg jeans like Holmes’s are a classic style that has been a part of many excellent airport outfits over the years.
