MMA fighters Mateusz Makarowski and Krystian Blezien engaged in a bloody war at Poland’s Bedzin Arena on Saturday night.
The pair met in what would turn into a memorable battle at MMA Attack 4.

Over three brutal rounds, the duo beat each other to a pulp, with the fight somehow going the distance.
After a fierce first round both Makarowski and Blezien began to show extreme facial wounds during a gruelling second.
Both men exchanged vicious punches that opened the other up in a gruesome war of a bout.
Both men reduced to bloody messes by the time the final bell finally rang.

Makarowski, 25, tasted victory via decision to take his professional MMA record to 8-5.
But despite his win, he wore plenty of wounds to show for it.
Swelling caused the victor’s eyes to close up, with heavy bruising and plenty of cuts leaving him in a brutal state.
Blezien, meanwhile, had it even worse.

The 4-4 ace saw his face swell badly, with a number of deep cuts, including a horrible gash on his left eyebrow, leaving him the worse for wear.
Unlike Makarowski, Blezien’s lips also ballooned in frightening fashion.
Both men showed impressive chins for the bout to somehow go the distance.
But there will surely be long lay-offs awaiting both as they recover from a scarcely believable fight.
